Getting the Most from SRM

Installation
Contractors work with our WDG representatives to understand application techniques to get the best results for SRM installation - restoring roofs to original condition, or even better.
Roof Marking - When applying coating by roller, marking the roof with measured roof squares will clearly establish for the applicator the area to be covered with the appropriate amount of coating per square. Dry coating thickness must meet minimum requirements. Granulated BUR or cap sheet requires more material because of the surface profile of the substrate.
Spraying/Backrolling - When spraying WDG silicone coating use the 2/3 overlap technique for uniform application and use an extra pass at all edges and penetrations. Using a roller to backroll when a full spray patter is difficult to achieve.
Snaking the Coating - This process involves pumping the coating to the roof and snaking it in a ribbon pattern. Then using a medium nap roller to spread the coating evenly. This technique also prevents overspray.
